°born in 1988, lives and works mainly in Belgium

The subject of Christine’s artwork is the overall impact of the emotions one goes through. It is a deeply transformational and devastating process. Her drawings take on the direct abstract quality of movement  itself or can take shape in dream scripts, signatures of the nervous system, sexual human beings and animals, archetypal or mythical creatures. In her big colorful oil paintings however, we zoom out into the primordial landscapes in which these existential experiences take place. We  can happily revisit caves, mountains, volcanos, oceans, waterfalls and forests.
